Realistic weathering in the test chamber
Sunlight simulation in a specially developed test chamber offers decisive advantages over outdoor weathering: higher acceleration factors, better reproducibility, and reproducible, standard-compliant conditions at all times.
Our test chambers are configured exactly to your requirements. We determine the necessary number and power of the light sources according to the desired irradiation area. In combination with a filter glass pane, the light spectrum corresponds to global radiation according to CIE 85, Table 4.
Standard-compliant testing for research and industry
Simulation in accordance with DIN 75 220 has proven particularly useful in the automotive industry for testing the weather resistance of paints, plastics, and components at an early stage. It is also used in electronics manufacturing (e.g., in accordance with IEC 60068-2-9) and in the aerospace industry (e.g., ASTM G155, ISO 4892), it provides reliable information on service life, color fastness, and material stability. Tests can be carried out in fast motion and, if necessary, extended to include additional stress factors such as temperature or climate – for realistic and standard-compliant results.

- Customizable irradiation parameters: Adjustable irradiance from 400–1150 W/m², high homogeneity up to ±5% in the reference plane, flexible irradiation areas, and a light spectrum according to CIE 85 – ideal for standard-compliant testing and individual requirements.
- Demineralized water supply: for standard-compliant testing and consistent results
- Feed-throughs: standard, notch, and handhole feed-throughs for cables, sensors, or lines
- Air-cooled condenser or water-cooled condenser for optimal integration into your infrastructure
