Condensation testing and Kesternich test
in DIN-compliant test chambers and chests
Moisture is one of the greatest stresses on surfaces and often leads to corrosion. Reliable quality testing is crucial, even in the development phase. With condensation testing and the Kesternich test, you can determine the resistance of your materials and coatings – in accordance with standards, reproducible, and practical.
Samples are continuously exposed to condensation in our test chambers. In the Kesternich test, the stress is additionally increased by sulfur dioxide (SO₂) – for even more extreme stress scenarios. This allows long-term behavior, susceptibility to corrosion, and coating quality to be reliably evaluated.
Combination test chambers – versatile and economical
Our combination test chambers offer a simple and cost-effective introduction to corrosion testing. Their design makes them suitable for Kesternich tests, condensation testing, and use as salt spray chambers.
We also offer optional alternating test devices that automatically combine condensation and salt spray tests—ideal for flexible and standard-compliant test series.
