Our temperature control units can be specially developed for use with dielectric cooling media – electrically non-conductive liquids that are playing an increasingly important role in the cooling of electric motors, inverters, and battery modules. Unlike conventional water-glycol mixtures, dielectrics enable direct cooling of live components without the risk of short circuits. This ensures higher power density, more compact designs, and greater efficiency in electric drives.

In view of current developments – for example in China, where the use of dielectric cooling media in electric vehicles is already mandatory – our systems offer the possibility of conducting realistic and standard-compliant tests of these new technologies.

Our temperature control units are tailored to the physical properties of dielectric media:
